Jenna & Pat | Wedding Photography | Nebraska
In a sweet little cabin in Ponca State Park, Jenna readied with all of her girls around her, mom deftly buttoning up the back of her dress. Once gussied up, we boarded a bouncy bus to Laurel where the bride would hug her dad for the first time, and where she and Pat would commit their lives to each other in a darling sanctuary the Father affectionately dubbed "our cracker-jack box of a church." After The Kiss, there were lots of hugs and bubbles and cheering, and then the merry lot meandered through local taverns and photo ops on the way back to kick-start the festivities. I managed to sneak the newlyweds away into the woods for a quiet moment to cap off their visual legacy and then released them for a night of dancing and revelry.
To Jenna and Pat, congratulations on choosing to love each other, and for choosing such a supportive entourage of friends that love you. And while you don't get to choose your family, I have a feeling you would have picked the ones you've been given if you had the option. Behind my lens, I saw people that adore you and would do anything for you, and that might be one of the greatest gifts you have in your new adventure together. So well done :) I prayed it while I was taking photos and I pray it now, that God abundantly blesses you and your new family and that you strive to outdo each other in love.
Thank you for inviting me to capture your special day and enjoy a few of my favorites...
Much love - Heather
