Jordan and Mike reached out last fall about documenting their day and I still can't believe my luck. I mean, who gets a private hangar for wedding photos?!

Jordan and Mike are the perfect pair. He's laid back and cool as a cucumber (not to mention you should seriously hear his pilot humor). Jordan is a firecracker who loves quirky things (hello, bouquet with a t-rex for "something blue"/reminder to be fierce!) and going all out to make a difference in the lives of others. Her green bracelets are always on her wrist as a testament to the trio of times she's shaved her head to raise money for children's cancer research - by which she's raised close to 20K. Together, Jordan and Mike are a power house, slightly unconventional, and know how to have a darn good time.

During the course of the day, Jordan sported not one, but two dresses, and slid into a pair of Converse Chuck wedge sneakers...because she's brilliant. After getting ready we traversed to Stoke's for a beautiful ceremony and lunch. We made a little Old Market magic in the street (love the Zio's pizza neon in the background!) and then headed down to Jet Linx where Mike had arranged a jet for our photos. Cue: giddy squealing.

The weather was in our favor. A storm came close but missed us, sparing heavy rain while also giving perfectly diffused afternoon light through moody cloud coverage. After playing, we went to the hotel for family time and rooftop photos. Big thanks to Brian Thomas at the Hilton for obliging us with the use of the roof - a first there!

Cocktail hour gave way to reception, complete with mashed potato bar, prime rib, cocktails, and cuppppppcaaaaaakes. Jordan's son, Chase, dominated the dance floor with his insane moves and then Secret Weapon - a favorite 80's cover band of Jordan's - ushered us into a night of rock and merrymaking.

Does it get any better? No. The answer is no. An unforgettable, truly epic day.

Jordan and Mike, thank you from the bottom of my heart for inviting me to capture such a special (read: FUN) day. I'll borrow from your sweet vows and wish you strong tailwinds and clear skies...
