Thirty two degrees is cold, especially when you're going to be taking pictures in it for an hour, but the Wagners bundled up in long underwear and every layer possible to make the most of the golden hour and Callen's good humor. (Breaks to warm up in the car were frequent.)

After some swinging and spinning, mommy and daddy got a turn to be just husband and wife for a moment. I love the way Anna's auburn hair caught in the wind and that they clearly still adore each other. So sweet! Then it was story time with Callen's favorite (and ours, too!) The Book With No Pictures. The hippo page is his fav.

Then it was off for a picnic of tarts in the woods, where Callen got to dine on his beloved carrot cake. Love, love, love when clients use our session to make memories with their little families!
