Hello, world! It’s been an usually busy hibernation season for me - renovating a farm, moving, selling our house, homeschool, buying seeds, planning tree lines and thickets and prairie, and commercial work. Whew!
And you know what else? This little man. Meet my darling new nephew William. *squeal!* Isn’t he scrumptious? My sister and her husband welcomed this little laddie over the winter and we’re smitten. (Maternity session here!)
I love every feature. The way his fists curl. That soft baby skin. The way he just curls up in mommy and daddy’s arms. Those quizzical expressions and big trusting eyes. Melt my heart.

p.s. For my photog friends: something about babies - be it their softness, their perfection - warrants less in the realm of editing. I treated these photos with far more care, keeping it light, film-like in color and true. Babies are already perfectly lovely - they require a light hand when fine-tuning. While it’s not my normal depth of shadow and drama, I feel these are best.
