My Anna

Some of you may know, but I have a lovely young protege - one Miss Anna of Jackson Street (previous post here) - and I have so adored our friendship over the last year.

Every week we make coffee, chat, develop our eyes and skills in design and photography, and bond over all things beautiful. Our homework? Styling shoots, and frequently venturing out to take turns in front of and behind the camera practicing in all sorts of challenging light, settings, technique, and feel. 

Getting to pour into this beautiful kindred spirit is one of the highlights of my week, and I just wanted to take a minute to say "Happy Birthday!" to my servant-hearted, spirited and blossoming young Padawan learner.
